Job Responsibilities:

• Support the Spa operations of MGM, including adherence of cleanliness as well as hygiene and safety standards and ensure the functionality and maintenance of all equipment in the treatment areas

• Perform Spa treatments to guests as assigned

• Thoroughly conduct guest’s health assessment before each treatment

• Before greeting and escorting guest to the treatment room, check the treatment room in regards to cleanliness, lighting, smell and functionality of the massage bed, shower area and standard set-up

• Before starting the treatment, reconfirm guest’s treatment selection(s), areas to avoid, allergies & injuries, and areas of focus

• Maintain cleanliness and stocking of treatment rooms

• Observe guest reactions and report frequently to superiors ensuring guest needs are exceeded

• Handle or elevate guest complaints in an expedient and effective manner

• Assist the Spa Receptionists or Spa Attendants as needed during peak periods

 
 
Job Requirements:

• 2 years’ experience in similar capacity in a 5 star luxury Hotel or Casino Resort environment

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Possess Massage therapist diploma, and be competent in performing a variety of different massages and body treatments.

• Good interpersonal skills; able to effectively address concerns, challenges and needs with superiors and peers

• Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese preferable

• Basic working knowledge of Opera and Microsoft Office, SpaSoft and/or Zenoti booking software.
